I missed "Dactari credits", which Google tells me is something to do with "The Phantom Menace" which I saw in a theatre in Los Angeles in June 1999. findarticles.com I spent some time peering into the projection room from the back of the theatre because I was really only interested in the projection technology invented by Qualcomm and which was the first live demonstration in commercial use. Unfortunately, Cinecom didn't gain ground and is another great idea of Qualcomm's which consumed money with no profitable result. Don't forget that movies, like The Matrix for example, are great for imagination indulgence, but bear no relationship to reality, being nothing more than pixelated photons dancing around on a screen resulting from pixilated processes in the minds of the producers. Continuity people try to maintain the illusion, but fail all too often [especially with the gratuitous use of product placement and cigarette promotion to boost revenue]. You can't really get in a phone box and disappear into another realm. Even the latest 3G cyberphones won't do it, though they are quite tricky. There aren't really light sabres, though 3G cyberphones will be able to wield Qi quite conveniently. General Petraeus apparently knows that cash is an excellent weapon with which to wage war - he uses it in Iraq to good effect. A light sabre would be useful in some situations, but financial inducements can do even better. Mqurice
