However, beware a Supreme Court justice who would read the 2nd amendment and not interpret that as an individual's right to bear arms, thereby ignoring two centuries of tradition and rulings. Remarkably, this is the first USSC ruling on guns control. And I guarantee the big city police departments around the country are not celebrating. Those legal hand guns will kill some of them. A Supreme Court justice may not actively violate our rights, but he or she will rubber-stamp a legislature or executive's attempts to do so. Or not. Witness the Gitmo rulings. I think it all comes down to your political perspective... Abortion is a womans right to some, a babies right to others.
