You must have a mind made of mush that absorbs sky is falling rhetoric as legitimate science. The entire scientific community does not agree with brilliant Al Gore's egotistical claim that a century of industrial activity by the human race has sent the ancient Earth's atmosphere into a tailspin. In the 1980s the global scare was a future ice age and similar scams -- they've included the "toilet tissue shortage scare" and the "cranberry sauce crisis." You need to be more worried about the environmentalists who are causing power shortages and higher food prices than a l/100th degree rise in the Earth's temp over a mere 100yrs.
