You still think China is the place to be?

I'm been playing the solar stocks of late, figuring that the world is desperate to find a way to reduce their energy costs. Or do you think energy is merely a speculative bubble?

I see that China has increased their fuel prices, apparently due to the financial pain being caused by subsidies. But increasing fuel prices also risks their being required to reflect that on inflation data (even though increasing fuel prices should act as a brake upon economic performance).

I'm still of the mind that if the American consumer goes into the tank that it can't be good for those economies that rely upon exporting to the US.

What say you?
