Talk about an economic paradigm shift unfolding right before our eyes. People in the US have not endured anything like this in their life times. So how will people react? In a constructive manner and face the problems head on with wisdom; or find scapegoats and devolve into mob rule? People are going to have to start thinking about victory gardens, VW's and basic survival. To most this is going to be a dramatic wake up call. People are also going to have to face the fact they were the cause of this by being ambivilant about how their country was being run and what their individual responsibilities were/are with regard to the ensuring they and their country behaved in a responsible manner.
