Adjusted by official CPIs, we're still at 2006 prices in Denmark.

While some discounters cut the prices to 1.24/Litre for unleaded (1.32 for diesel) in various areas scattered around the country (one is as low as 1.21); some special cases of price gouging exist: particularly on highways prices are as of today at the highest allowed prices of 1.4290 (for unleaded) to 1.4990 (Diesel).

Many tourists who have little local knowledge and are unable to find the discounters have to pay the full fare at the pump.
