Steve, > you shouldn't take Ben Franklin's quote out of context. It has nothing to do with your new progressive form of communism

Says who? With liberals rewriting history as we speak, who's to decide that Ben Franklin didn't prefer a communism over the preservation of individual rights?

By the way, another quote that liberals can spin:

"A nation of well informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the region of ignorance that tyranny begins." - Ben Franklin

Nothing at all -- and Franklin would absolutely not have endorsed the crap these guys spout.

I haven't talked about communism. Especially any new, progressive form.

Considering that Ben founded the first fire department, public library and was instrumental in creating our Post Office, he certainly understood that we have a civilization and not the libertarian fantasy you inhabit?

Did I mention he also founded a college?
