>> you clearly have little understanding of the cost of American medical system these days to the average consumer.

Are you kidding? I see it every day.

But the simple truth is that if you want the best health care in the world you have to pay for it.

Should you, god forbid, get cancer, you'll be damned glad those $6,000/weekly chemo treatments are available to you. Expensive? Yes, but that's because you are able to get treatments here you can't get anywhere else.

So, next time you go to the ER, be glad you are able to get treated if you need it, instead of bitching about the price tag. Be glad you can get allergy treatment instead of doing what you have do in most countries, which is to live with the sniffles.

In a 2004 World Allergy Organization survey, only 23 countries have allergy specialists. At all. Of those, only NINE reported that children with allergic diseases would be seen by a physician with appropriate training. In the United States, any city of 40K or more probably has a board certified allergy specialist.

Your BS about this country having the best medical system in the world is belied by some basic facts.......like life span longevity. If our system is so good, why are we well below the top in terms of longevity.

Fool. It is generally agreed that lifespan is not a reasonable measure of the quality of health care.

In the United States we eat like pigs, get no exercise, smoke, drink to excess, and drive more miles than in any other nation.

Dumbass.
