Nobody ever said anything about a consumer retail product. What is everybody talking about?

I believe what is being misinterpreted is that somebody gave Apple as an example of a successful turnaround, and someone else (me) said Apple was saved by a product visionary, but no such visionary would likely come to Sun's rescue.

I didn't say, mean, or imply that a consumer product visionary could ever save Sun. I meant a product visionary who could devise a product line that would appeal to Sun's IT customer base.

See the difference?

Products which might appeal to Sun customers are not retail consumer electronics but are nonetheless still products. I was talking about SERVER products, not ipods or laptops or cell phones.
