There is global warming, no doubt. biggest danger, besides imminent flooding is the carbon dioxide melts the methane hydrates in the arctic (which are pervasive and measure in the qudrillions of cubic feet) and are 23 times more a greenhouse gas and what happened in the perminan age when 95% of all life on earth was wiped out because of drastic temperature increases. I know that country very well. Ice pack has moved 400/500 miles north in winter. Bearing sea fish and salmon moving hundreds of miles north. Walruses having trouble. Ice pack is only 10 feet deep and melting from the bottom the eskimos say. Forests growing on the north slope and moose moving in. Northern passage viable for first time this year. King crab invading antartic and have not been there for millions of years. Elk, deer and cougers moving far north.
