Geoff, unlike YOU, I'm not "all seeing" so I don't really know which candidate may make the best President.

I like John McCain and I've always considered him a very sharp guy that would put the Country before political expediency.

BUT, his stuff about NOW saying we should keep Bush's dumb tax cuts and select Supreme Court Justices based on ideology worries me and makes me wonder if he will just "pander to the right" for 4 years if he thinks he could get a second term.

I have pretty much the same problem with Obama because I KNOW he'll be looking for a second term and he could end up "pandering" to everybody and not get ANYTHING accomplished.

I think what we NEED in this Country is a STRONG 3rd Party that could tell us the TRUTH for a change and make the other parties start SERIOUSLY taking on the issues that MATTER.

Something like what Perot did in 1992.
