If I had been POTUS, we would NEVER have gone into Iraq. I would have been smart enough to realize that Iraq and Saddam were the BEST buffer to Iran. If I were POTUS I would have CONCENTRATED on Afghanistan and made SURE we caught bin Laden. I would have used the "goodwill" that we had after 9/11 to put money and agents into Western Pakistan to deny Al Queada and the Taliban a new haven. I would have made a MAJOR effort to open relations with Iran and support the more moderate elements in that country. That just seems like common sense to me, but I don't have all the Hundreds of Billions of knowledge and human resourses that Bush had.
