I should not have qualified my comments by the phrase "in general". Commentary should be truthful. Even brutally truthful.

Obama and his people have tried to control the debate by labelling anyone that opposed them as venal, evil, racist, or dealing in distractions.

They've been pretty successful at it because people keep backing off.

McCain initially looked like he fell for it. He needs to grow a couple, so to speak, if he doesn't want to be a loser like Hillary.

The Republicans shouldn't be backing off at all. Obama is fair game across the board. If he wants the job, he has to be vetted and he has to be able to take it.

Personally, I think that Obama is so used to the victim card that he can't take it and never will. His whining borders on the childish.
