The bridge issue may be legit. We had a LNG tanker explode in the US many years ago. Anyone who thinks it's not a serious issue might want to look into that event. They are like atomic bombs. It's a sure thing that if a tanker hit a bridge and started leaking, everyone on or near the bridge would be instantly cremated.

I am all for LNG, but those tankers really should offload a few miles from shore for safety, at underwater terminals designed specifically for that purpose. If they have to come inland it should only be allowed in unpopulated areas.
