I wish I could say it's easy, but it isn't.

Sometimes, like in the case of PRC, I listen to what others have to say, even though I may not care for their style of investing or their views.

I listened to what Ed Ajootian had to say, even though our styles are different, and when I saw that the technicals were supporting his fundamentals, I went all in.

That's the value in participating in these threads and why I don't place anyone on ignore. I keep an open mind and listen to what others have to say, then I try to confirm their opinions and views.

In addition to this, I follow sectors that show strength and then I look at every chart within that sector, looking for indications that accumulation may be going on. This may take an hour or more every day. It's actually quite boring but very effective when it comes to timing the entry. (You've got to do the leg work.)

Earlier today I provided a visual analysis of what I look for and I used PRC as an example.

I have some set scans but, they aren't as good as actually looking at many charts on a weekly or daily basis.

You can keep a list of 40 or 50 stocks you'd like to own if the conditions were right and then just focus on them. I do this as well. I have a specific set of stocks that I review weekly to see if any accumulation is going on.

Just a few ideas. I'm sure other folks here use other means of identifying good prospects.
