Regarding lapel pins they have become a symbol of jingoism, IMO. Norman Mailer called it "pornographic patriotism". I believe in human decency above all. I believe we humans must stucture out societies intelligently. Lone clone who post son SI says it well when he puts at the bottom of his emails.
