Lots of guys like to race on short dirt tracks and have racing parties to raise money for their cars. Many have made cookers out of two 50 gallon barrels welded end to end mounted on trailers and cut in half to make a hinged lid. Add a spit with a motor and charcoal racks that slide out the ends to reload. Put a 200 pound pig on the spit and cook for 10 hours at 180 with a few guys watching the fire and basting and you get some pretty good pork sandwiches. Sides and beer are usually donated so for a $7.50 ticket it makes a good meal. You ever try Famous Dave's? Some not far from you.

would love to get some rain! grass looks like it august all burnt. some rain heavy last night , lasted ten minutes. huge storms coming in and they fell apart. tonight watch storm warnings and dopla as soon as storms hit lancaster county they started to break up.. we got spit for rain. clean rest of night. sunday brings some promise of rain with big storms moving this way then weather man says storms may stay south of us. However, there is a possibility we might get some rain on Monday because the front will hang around. huh?
