You were right on the mark about Obama. That tells me you can read people well and understand profoundness-lol.

Interesting you should say this.......I don't think I've ever told this story before. Prior to 2000, I had never really paid too much attention to presidential elections. However, from the very first time I saw Bush/Cheney, my gut began to bother me and I started paying attention to what was happening. My feelings solidified the day that Bush and Cheney didn't know their mike was on and began to curse out reporters. I knew then that these guys were different from past politicians and that they would not make good leaders. So on the nite of the election, for the first time in my life, I stayed up to watch, planning to take the next day off from work. I was feeling okay until CBS reversed its position on FLA, calling it undecided after declaring it for Gore. When that happened, my stomach did a huge drop and I knew the country was in trouble. The next month confirmed my worst fears and I knew that we would paid dearly for having put Bush/Cheney into the WH. My friends thought I was crazy. And I will always hold Gore in a poor light for having whimped out so easily in 2000. Why Dems still respect him is beyond me.
