I agree Koan..I'd just add that Obama is where he is because of his own hard work..he was born of humble means with no connections to "the system." His grandparents/mom were smart to send him to that prep school in Hawaii(on scholarship), but it's Obama who "went with it." His heart was into organizing marginalized people, empowering them to effect changes in their own lives..then off to Harvard where he was elected the first Black president of their Law Review..he worked for it, he achieved it..it's a window into his character, imo. And: After his 04 speech, it was hugely successful folk like Buffet, et al. and ordinary middle class folk that created a web site to draft him into the race..it wasn't like he went after the POTUS job purely based on his purported hyper-ambitions..
