Boy, great post. Right on the money. Started a war for no reason where four million people are displaced. And their misdeeds are so numerous that one almost gets lost.

Its just a fast political tap dance. If run a campaign on the basis that "this time it's different", then by god you better be different.

You can bet they did a cost benefits analysis on the switch and decided to take the money.
