Have you been able to pass along the higher costs to your customers? Eventually you must,I would imagine.

You saw the price China pays for iron ore from australia will double this week. A couple of years ago Japan did the same thing (dramatically raised the price they would pay for steel overnight)to ensure their car company's need for steel.

$143 oil is going to run through all facets of the worlds economy and fan inflation like a virus causing a fever.

I have been posting for quite awhile (Mish's thread) I feel the US is in for a period of bad stagflation. Probably a depression in the "lower 48" as we call your country-lol.

Obama faces exactly the same set of problems FDR faced after Hoover, EXCEPT it was much easier for FDR as we had little debt and we owned the world.

Things are about to get real tough even with Obama. If the people blow it again and elect McCain we are doomed. McCain's economic ideas are just plain nuts. He has the same neo con advisers bush has.

Just like bush, McCain will say anything and usually it is just empty rhetoric. McCain has no idea how he will effect the things he is saying and blatantly lying about most of it like keeping the tax cuts for the rich, but saying they are for everyione. mcCain is just not a big thinker and god knows we need a big thinker right now.
