There's definitely a seachange of sentiment at the grassroots level as far as Obama support. Many local political forums were overwhelmed by Dems for mos--70% Libs vs 30% Repubs. Since BO announced that he won't be accepting public campaign financing, that ratio has reversed.

I'm a Bush supporter and I think history will vindicate his policies. That some of them failed is at least partly due to the resistance and opposition of Democrats who want to see him fail.

No, I'm not happy with how long the war in Iraq is taking. I'm not happy with the cost of diesel and gas, and I'm not happy with the mortgage crisis.

I don't have a clue as to how to stop these negatives, and neither does Obama. I don't know whether McCain has what it takes to reverse them, but my money is on him until somebody better comes along.
