The FED just doesn't want to admit it to the public

understandably so..although the fed has come out earlier this year with a statement that we would have an increase in bank failures this year...their concern is the too big to fail variety...

The U.S. is still holding it's own with positive growth. We need to do what we can to sustain that growth until alternatives become a reality.

Liberals are going to share the brunt of the criticism merely for having blocked every viable energy source for years.
