Yes,I agree. Initially the poor and lower and middle classes will carry the weight. The idea is disposable income shrinks. The middle and lower classes and the poor must adjust their lifestyles to deal with less and less disposable income. The hardest hit are those who are already living pay-check to paycheck.

This is why I have firmly believed the Fed could never truly control inflation without effecting other areas of the economy. Because the United States was able to import more labor abroad on the manufacturing end and import goods created in such an environment, all was well. Today inflation is a global threat where there is no place to hide. Cheap labor abroad is getting more expensive by the month whereby American manufacturing outsourcing their production need to readjust their margins. Nothing is free.

The next few years will be very interesting.

I firmly believe Barack Obama is better position to deal with the mess created the last 10 years and more. No finger pointing...just the facts. The economic cycle needs to readjust. Americans are fed up with the Fed and Co.(no pun intended). Our level of trust has with the status quo has been reduced and greatly marginalized. The idea we should be more concerned about Terrorism and less our economic and future environment is getting a wash/rinse cycle;a cleansing. A new attitude is emerging. That attitude could easily elect Barack to the highest oath of office we have. To bet against him is insane. Oh yeah, the race card? Forget about it! That man is more than qualified to do the job!

just one mans opinion.
