< I suspect we have seen the most significant results of T and I do not want to become a bore with these posts. So unless something significant happens I will stop the reports here. I do suspect that we will see slow improvements over time as the damaging autoimmune attacks are suppressed.

IMO, T is the "gold standard" for treating RRMS.

Please keep us posted on the progression of your wife. Since there isn't much going on this SI board anyway, I don't see how it can become a bore to let us know how is your wife doing on Ty.

Best of luck to both of you.

I can't think of anything I would like reading more than continued good results. Makes my day...(:>)

We talk about the FDA being too slow or too careful. MS is an area that has at least a few interesting ideas that should be fast tracked. Good luck and hanging in there. Someone should ask the FDA for the keys to the Fast Track because they are certainly not using them. :)

Someone asked me to comment on how my wife is doing on Tysabri. There is not much to report since her dramatic recovery - certainly nothing of that magnitude.

She continues to gradually improve, even playing some tennis and her guitar. We even went to the Symphony recently, something we had not done for 20 years because her fatigue* prevented it - she was shot in the evening.

She has experienced a "cold" that has lingered for weeks, not normal for her. I suspect T has down regulated the immune response. She is over that now.

She continues to report small improvement across a range of deficits.

For me, it is like** getting a new wife.

:-)

* She also experienced some mental interference, something of a noise or fog caused by listening to music - this seems to have abated.

** Just imagined. Never done that. :-)
