I read a study said hands free is just as prone for accidents as handheld. It was the act of holding a phone conversation that was distracting, headset or not. Gabbing with a passenger had no ill effects.

Makes sense to me.

I thought that all changed tomorrow? Cops couldn't pull you over for using a cell phone with your hands up until July 1st. After July 1st they could?

the cops can't pull someone over just for talking.

that's how seat belt Laws started. Now it's a primary offense
