Well, the Willamette was a poor performer, but it was the first of the P4s, which were eventually very successful.
Likewise, it could be that the first of the PCM is poor, but eventually gets better as it moves to the next node.
If the PCM is really a dud product then Numonyx is doomed to failure.
I just find it hard to accept that Intel would launch a new company that is doomed from the beginning.
