My own home equity increase is presently at 475% to the good since 1999, give or take.

Sorry if this violates your cosmic principles.

Also, most of my clients get to keep their houses and cars after bankruptcy, and almost all of them get to keep the big screen TVs and the Wiis and the Nintendos and the Coach bags and the Manolo shoes and many other nice toys and so forth.

Some of them, I can even strip off a wholly unsecured second mortgage in a Chapter 13.

Again, sorry if this violates your cosmic principles.

Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.

Brazil and Argentina stop trading in dollars

SÃO PAULO, 6/30/08 - At the 25th Mercosur Summit on Tuesday Argentina and Brazil will officialize an agreement whereby bilateral trade will no longer be in dollars, but in their own currencies.
The deal is a landmark and has been one of the main goals of Mercosur.
According to economists, the new measure will lower financial and bank operation costs by 2.5% in both countries. (Newsroom/ DCooke - InvestNews)
