It is a matter of definition. I read just yesterday how flawed the safety testing really is. I've owned small cars and large cars. Gas mileage has never been a determining factor in my choice of autos. Comfort is near the top and that is most often found in a larger car. My current ride is a Buick. Quiet, comfortable and, as far as I'm concerned, efficient. I consistently get 22+ mpg around town. A summer ago, I drove across the bottom of Wyoming on I-80 at 75 and 80 mph. From Evanston, WY to Fort Collins, CO I got 32.2 mpg. Not bad!
