Unfortunately, there is such a thing as waiting too long. I'm afraid that by the time there is consensus that our climate is getting unbearable for the human species to continue existing, it will already be too late. This is what happens when corporations run the world. Profits above all else.

There was a time when the genius of the American Democratic system was one that balanced the needs of the people with that of Trade. Now it seems that Trade has a lopsided upper hand. Bush Jr has simply exacerbated that upper hand.

There are at least two nuclear plants under proposal. If I remember correctly, they are fairly along in the design stage. I can't remember where they were supposed to be built.
