ogi - That would explain it, then. TL had a strange sense of humor, to be sure. I don't know how "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" would go over with the PETA folks these days. POG up nicely, have fun at the greens.

Agreed. Tom Lehrer's one of my favourites. He was a bit of a cult figure in the UK in the mid-1960s. He had an amazing way with words. One of the best...

My parents had a Tom Lehrer record that we listened to hundreds of times and knew all the words for, in fact I still know most of the words. This was in Auckland, NZ. I wonder what became of him - did he go back to being a full-time mathematician?
