The problem I see is that the deflation is hitting people in their assets and the inflation is hitting them very hard in their daily spending. It's the worst of all possible economic worlds.

koan: isn't that a recipe for stagflation? Moribund economy and currency destruction.

The thing I always wondered about was that every country seemed to want a weak currency to help exports, but in effect destroying their currencies.

I think stagflation is in the cards.
