Kerry came home and told the truth to help end a bad war. Bad wars don't "honor the military".

You would need to take that up with the people he served with. You see, it is one thing for you or me to criticize him (or refute the criticism of others). But it is something entirely different when the people he served with and served under criticize him -- they were there, we weren't.

You and I can argue about the Vietnam war. But when the people who knew Kerry best criticize his behavior, it would be both sad and utterly stupid for the American people not to be informed about it and to close their eyes to it.

Kerry clearly didn't possess the moral authority to be Commander-in-chief. Thus, we were well-served by the Swiftboat ads.

"I note that both Bush and McCain who opposed the Democrats "new GI bill" are now taking credit for it."

Hadn't noticed that.

No big surprise. That is Bush's MO. Fight it every step of the way and then take credit for it.

It is what makes him a uniter. He can get Republicans and Democrats to work together to over-rule him...
