transformational, progressive but moderate and not a cowtower to the radical left represented by Ted. Is this your first election? He quit cowtowing to the Left because he won the nomination and now he is trying to morph into something the general public is willing to vote for. It doesn't alter the fact that he is an ultra-extreme leftist at the core. This is a textbook definition of a waffler and a recipe for disaster. His waffles are staggering -- not on minor issues, but on fundamental principles on which he has run. Look, McCain has a track record, Obama does not. So, in McCain's case, we know what he is and is not because we've watched him for 30 years. In Obama's case, there is no track record. NONE. So, we are dependent on our assessments of his character as the sole means of determining his suitability for the job. And all these waffles, combined with the dealings with shady characters leaves Obama's character open to question. The point is his waffling is a pretty significant problem in light of the blank slate that is his history.
