people don't need the media to tell why they feel bad in this economy.... all it takes is a relentless rise in fuel, food, education, healthcare, and relentless decline in assets like housing and investment accounts and you have a pretty good recipe for despair what i find amusing about this 'shoot the messenger' piece is that i see a lot of 'silver lining' and 'glass half full' spin on some very seriously negative fundamental issues with no quick fix (fed intervention) ...my perception based on my anecdotal evidence based on what i read and my personal interaction (away from the financial sites) is that americans are just BEGINNING to get a dose of reality, and it began with $4 gas, oh and the next shoe will be when they look at their second quarter investment report....(at least for the ones who bother to open it)
