<<I suppose I was most POd with Clark cuz he should have known that Repubs, McCain and the MSM would "cling" to those words to rile things up, esp when they're trying to paint Obama as unpatriotic..>>

Zeta...one of my favorite posters...

Why should we wince at words for fear that they would hurt the neocons. I say fark them. They have farked this nation for nearly 8 years and this bastard of MSM has done nothing but abide by the neocon's actions.

General Clark was right on calling out McCain because, contrary to his campaign own words, he does advertize his service in Vietnam in his political ads. Therefore, it is fair game.

I am proud of General Clark and Sen. Obama better not leave the general out in the cold or he will lose some support. On this issue I stand with Mind and Ted.

No more Mr. Nice Guy.

It's a good point. Only history will tell us whether surrogates like Clark attacking McCain's credentials will bear fruit or not. I think a couple months from now, all of us will be so pissed at all the unfair mudslinging coming from the Republican camp, that we'll wish Obama's camp did it a little more. Just a little prediction on my part.
