Ah - interesting. Could you give us a chronology of correlated events?

I guess in a down market, violating the expected could mean missing a bounce when one is clearly due. We've gone straight down from 1322 with no exits (huis clos -- l'enfer c'est les autres). There's got to be a bounce!

Today looks to end around where we are now, in the low 1270s. I will expect a bounce after we confirm 1257 at the close, but it's not looking like we'll be moving up until after the weekend. I don't know what the excuse will be, but the commentators will think of something after the fact. :-)
