* McCain criticized TV preacher Jerry Falwell as “an agent of intolerance” in 2002, but has since decided to cozy up to the man who said Americans “deserved” the 9/11 attacks. (Indeed, McCain has now hired Falwell’s debate coach.)

Huh. I thought Falwell was dead.

The reality, of course, is that these gripes are extremely shallow. For example, on the campaign finance issue, McCain DID take public financing and DID commit to it in advance. That he didn't commit to as soon as this nitwit blogger thought he should is of no consequence.

It is laughable that you would cite this given Obama's 180-degree turn on the issue.

Left out of that is the fact Falwell apologized for his remarks.

* McCain used to oppose Bush’s tax cuts for the very wealthy, but he reversed course in February.

Opposing a tax cut isn't the same as favoring a tax increase. which reversing the tax cuts would be. BTW Bush's tax cuts weren't just for the very wealthy.

The rest of the charges are similar. Designed to divert attention from Obama's flipflops.
