Sorry for cheap shot.
As far as obama goes, isnt it possible that bill ayres who is now in the public service arena has changed his ways enough so that his past shouldnt be used to tarnish folks like obama and daly who sit on boards with him and have decent personal relations with him?
Hell, Bobby Byrd is a senator who has done some good work after his bad beginnings. People do change. Ayres biggest blunder imho is that he has failed to admit that what he did in the 60s was wrong. He also should have paid a price for that but like many walks the streets because the evidence wasnt strong enough etc.
