I don't mind posting links that I haven't posted time and again.

I don't know if you can get the NYT article or not, but you can google Ayres Obama New York Times and find plenty of references to it. It has been repeated in the MSM many, many times, so there is no doubt as to whether it appeared.

Of course the NYT lies at the drop of a hat, but it was a direct quote from Ayres.
