Do you honestly believe you want a man as president who socializes with this individual? That is a pretty far stretch from anything that would have been acceptable to the public in past elections. Who said they socialize? They happen to live in the same neighborhood. Ayers happens to be an important figure in the Democratic party. Its inevitable that they would know each other. Once again you and your rightie friends are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. Boring. As for Ayers, he claims the NY Times "distorted" his statements. Given your hatred for the NY Times, I am sure you will side with Ayers on this one.
