CHICAGO - Reaching out to religious voters, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama called for expanding President Bush's program steering federal social service dollars to religious groups and — in a move sure to cause controversy — supported some ability to hire and fire based on faith.

This guy is so two-faced it isn't funny

They'll probably just write it off as another lie Obama has to tell to fool people into voting for him.

Most liberals buy into the ends justifies the means idea.

But when he eventually admits the surge worked and backs off a timetable for full withdrawal (which I'm predicting he'll do), they may have some problems. They're pretty emotionally invested in defeat.

Obama has said this before and he also has supported a more conservative approach to education than his liberal/union/idiot supporters. His flip occurred when he moved to the left in the primary to sustain his early momentum after hillary stumbled and bill fumbled on the race issue. He has been for bottom up progressivism---grass roots---and not for top down union/big govt socialism. Where is Goolsby who they buried during campaign because he was too progressive for the reactionary liberals to buy into.

Are you getting any of this?
