I hope for a whistle blower, too, but my my hopes are low. Nothing internal is planned to change, so why should someone risk their basically risk-free job? Besides, Bramson and McKibben have run Ampex from across the country in NYC, far from any diligent Ampex worker. I don't know where Strickland's office is, but I do hope it's far away from the brilliant engineers still working at Ampex in California.

IMO, Strickland was brought in just for the BK, and it was already in the works the moment ED left, and he wasn't fired...
After the BK, hope it doesn't go through, Strickland leaves and a new Pres. is named...and Hillside has control and ownership..with a 16% yield to boot...
