How did Ike fare with his built in Pentagon? Did it help him (and us) by his having some previous experience? You mention just 16 years...that would be GWB and Clinton....How did GHWB and Reagan deal with the hands they were dealt? What is the difference? Is it the generation of people? The narcissistic times we are in today? Is it the Congress for the last 16 years as well...? Most of us know we are in perilous times....it's just we aren't sure how to deal with the hand we are all dealt right now.
