I guess my "point" would be that you can't be BOUND by Party Affiliation.

NO candidate is ever going to be perfect so you have to try and pick the person that most reflects the positions that you hold.

It might be better if the political system in the U.S. were split up so that "several POV's" could be expressed rather than having to pick either A or B even though you may detest many of the positions held by the guy you are sort of "forced" to pick.
