We are in agreement. :) This kind of thing just makes me want to throw up my hands at the supposed adults. Teachers put up with an awful lot of grief. Being in the theatre and music departments where I worked, you hear a lot of complaining, since, unlike academics where everyone can earn an A, not everyone can get the solo or the lead. "Why isn't my child in the Show Choir?" "Well, she can't sing or dance and she has the personality of a snail", isn't a well-received response. And the parent needs to help a child accept these disappointments and move on, not teach that he's some kind of victim.
