Just telling it as they told me. One happened about 6 years ago, the other happened late last year. My local friend stayed with him after he got back and either he was out clubbing and got the crap kicked out of him or he was abducted and robbed. The one that happened 6 years ago was verified as he was retelling the story for about the 10th time for them for our benefit. But now that i think about it, probably both of them were doing something they shouldn't have been doing. The guy that got robbed 6 years ago used to drive into the slums to buy cocaine so maybe he got someone into his car that he shouldn't have or someone pulled a gun. The guy that just got robbed I don't know as well but drugs may have been involved also. Good upstanding citizens probably don't get robbed as much but cocaine using lawyers probably have worse odds.
