Ted, I think Obama's surrogates found a way to fight off the smears from the neocons. Just as Sen. Obama, Jim Webb, and some former spokesperson for Gore (?), were seen telling reporters that in the face of multiple problems currently facing americans, the inconsequential, irrelevant noise created on a daily basis from the McCain campaign was not their priority. The electorate is pissed and will not tolerate gimmicks in this election. Sen. Obama just needs to remind the voters whom to blame for all the angst they are going through.
