Tim; In war there are problems and set backs, there are slow periods and more active periods. But Tim - what is our goal there? To defeat a rogue misfit bunch of Taliban? It wasn't the Taliban who attacked us you know. We did have an enemy and we needed to go in there make a show of force remove the enemy and get the heck out. You need to read the history of Afghanistan - especially during the Russian occupation - to understand what we face. 7 years into the war against one of the weakest countries on the planet is an embarrasment. steve
