Ann: "Don't expect Democrats to competently cope with the terrorists--after 8 YEARS of Bill Clinton the US exprienced the first attack by radical Islamists on the US homeland. Clinton had 8 YEARS to capture Osama who attacked the USS Cole and bombed US embassies in Africa. Dem presidents are national security challenged. koan: "the attack happened on bush's watch"! And he had warnings he ignored. 2) bush has also failed to capture Osama for the past 6 years and he has had the entire military, a trillion dollars and an entire ocuntry supporting his efforts, to do it with! Bush also publicly said capturing Osama was not that big a deal. What was that comment about? He also said he does not think that much about it. What was that about? Obama will protect us from terrorists better than McCain because he will surround himself with smarter people than McCain or bush did. And Obama is light years ahead of McCain intellectually. We need a smart president for a change. Look at the state of our economy! Bush has run up huge deficits. Bush doubled our domestic deficit from 5 to 10 trillion dollars in just 8 years borrowing money from the chinese, other asian countries and the middle east countries to pay for the war. Now they have about 5 trillion of our debt/dollars and are able to blackmail us with it. I now make my living now as a trader. Bush put "Brownie" as head of the countries emergency response department. Before that Brownie was an administrator for race horses! Bush made a political appointment where he should have put a qualified person in charge. PS: I wrote our first comprehensive state plan for emergency medical services and was the first state director, so I know a thing or two about this subject. Cheers,
